Upon successful completion of six months of DE-RISK project, 1st General Assembly Meeting was held on 26 and 27 April 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal with the active participation of the Project Coordinator and 10 partners of the project. The meeting lasted for 1.5 days and was hosted by the project partner Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. It was a good chance for the consortium partners to meet in person after the Project Kick-off Meeting, review the progress made in the first six months of the project as per each work package and adjust the work plan for the upcoming six months.
Achievements of Project and Future Plans
During the meeting, all work package and case study leaders made their presentations summarizing the progress in the subject work package or case study, main achievements accomplished, deliverables submitted, possible risks and their corresponding mitigation mechanisms and lastly, the planning of the next period.
In the 1st day of the GA Meeting, WEglobal, Universidade Nova De Lisboa, Sofia Energy Agency, QUE Technologies made their presentations for Work Package 1: Project Management and Coordination; Work Package 2: Consumer Journey in the Local Flexibility Market; Work Package 3: Regulatory, Policy, Financial state of the art analysis; and Work Package 4: Case study preparation, implementation and validation, respectively. In addition, case study leaders of DE-RISK, i.e. MIWenergia, Gridpocket , TROYA, UEDAŞ and National University of Ireland Galway made their presentations for describing the details of their case studies and discussing about the next steps.
In the second day of the meeting, R2M Solution Spain and WEglobal made their presentations for Work Package 5: Local Flexibility business models, exploitation and replication; and Work Package 6: Wide and High Impact Communication, Dissemination and Market Engagement, respectively.
Next Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria!
The next General Assembly meeting is decided by a majority of votes to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria on 10 and 11 October 2023 (Month 12 of the Project) to do a similar review at that point.
